Hopewell Township is a township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States, and a suburb of Pittsburgh. The population was 13,506 as of the 2020 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh and borders Moon Township in Allegheny County. The Hopewell Area School District has an enrollment of approximately 2100 students divided into three grade configurations: K-4, 5-8 and 9-12. Hopewell Township has a fabulous Community Park encompassing 78 acres of primarily undeveloped woodlands, fields and wetlands. The park features open spaces, wooded nature trails, a Nature Center for special events, picnic tables, pavilions, a two-acre spring fed lake and a handicap accessible fishing pier. Just a short 20 minute ride away you can visit Raccoon Creek State Park which is a 7,572-acre Pennsylvania State Park on Raccoon Creek in Hanover and Independence townships in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
